This time with some Zukki (2nd cast Ooishi) thrown in too XD You know, whenever I saw magazine scans with them together I always assumed it was cause of Gekiranger from last year (where Zukki played the main good guy Jan and Araki played the main bad guy Rio) but this magazine’s from this month, a while after Gekiranger ended. *shrug*

So uh, I’m gonna start crossposting my guycandy posts here cause why the hell not, they’re all going to be of Tenimyu actors anyway. THEY’RE RELEVANT I PROMISE
(Araki Hirofumi is the 2nd cast actor for Inui Sadaharu in the PoT musicals! :D)

As soon as I saw this picture among some other scans of this special Cast-Prix issue, I IMMEDIATELY found it on Yesasia and stuck it in my cart. No matter what, this is going to be in my next purchase. XD

Because I’m slightly confused at what the hell is going on with the cast list on ANN. Someone explain to me why the hell Kintarou and Kite and Chinen and Sanada and Renji and Shiraishi and other people from Nationals appear in this movie that only goes up through Hyoutei arc?
Also, why do all of the Hyoutei regulars have new actors except Choutarou, when the original musical actors apparently play bystanders in the background? o_o
Also, I find it very amusing that pretty much the entire cast (according to ANN) is made up of Tenimyu actors- yet besides all of Seigaku and a couple other exceptions (Nanjirou, freshmen trio, Sakurai + Kamio), none of them are playing the same character as they did in Tenimyu XD Nagayan is in it as a bystander! Tuti plays Kite XDDD Wada Masato (Sengoku in Tenimyu) is Kintarou. JURI (Akutsu!) plays Davide! XD Moriyama Eiji plays Sanada, when he played Momo in the musical (and voiced Shinji in the anime too! XDD). Ishida’s musical actor plays Renji.
Another reason I should watch it: I <333 2nd cast XDDD And I’m currently absolutely in love with Araki~~ XD And Suzuki, and Aiba, and Shirota, and…really, the ONLY change I’d make to 2nd cast is replacing Osamu (Eiji) with Seto, 3rd cast Eiji, or Nagayan, 1st cast Eiji. Osamu’s the only 2nd cast member I don’t like that much…XD;;;
Oh, and Shimatani Hitomi is in it. Apparently they changed Ryuuzaki-sensei from an old lady that used to be Nanjirou’s coach to a young woman who was apparently Nanjirou’s classmate. And then cast Shimatani Hitomi in the role. I don’t really like Shimatani much recently but I like a bunch of her older music~~

Today, the Dream Live 5th photosets I bought from someone on Livejournal arrived! :D I also was expecting a bunch of MG doujinshi (soo cute, love their doujin <33) but those didn’t come, so I guess I have to wait until next week to get them. DX

I’m in love with these photosets. Most photosets I’ve seen are one picture of the actor as the character in a normal tennis pose with three pictures of just the actor, but these are two and two- and the in-character ones are great! They’re not just normal boring poses (which aren’t always bad, but kinda boring anyway). All the ones I’ve seen from Dream Live 5th are amusing, with funny poses and props- and I love the background, with the net and everything. Again, most of what I’ve seen has just been against a plain-colored background for the in-character pictures.

I love Inui with his juice and data, like always. XD I’m not a huge fan of this actor- but really, I don’t know the other Inui actors besides Araki (2nd cast), who’s definitely my favorite. No one can beat Dream Live 3rd Data wa Uso wo Tsukanai yo! XD
You can’t see it in the picture I took, but in the first photo, the juices have names on the labels! XDD The red one on the ground says Ryouma, the one to the side of it says Kawamura, and the one he’s holding? Kaidou, of course! XD I love the implication that he has special juices for each regular- that’s so like Inui. XD And they probably all taste horrible…
Poor unsuspecting bird in the second photo. XD; Is that how he tests out his drinks? Animal testing is bad…XDDD

See that hand in the left side of the first pic? Guess who’s creeping…XDD I love Inui. 8D Poor Kaidou. He can’t say no to a senpai. XD I really like the way some of the sets go together, such as Tomo!Kaidou and Inui, Bane and Davide, Taka and Momo…there are probably others but I haven’t seen all the sets yet, just the ones this person was selling.
Oh man, the second pic. XD I saw an icon or something of this and wtf’d, and I had no idea where it was from. As soon as I saw that it was a DL5 photoset that this person was selling, I had to grab it XD That’s just…so random. Ironing? XD
Also, that third pic is SO CUTE. O___O

I probably wouldn’t have gotten Ooishi’s set, except it was being sold together with Eiji’s. I’m not a fan of this actor. I mean, none of Ooishi’s actors look really good AS Ooishi- dude, no one can pull off the Ooishi-hair. But when I first heard about 4th cast, way back before Higamyu started and they debuted, I saw a picture of this guy and thought he was SO ugly. XD I STILL don’t think he’s that good-looking. He’s not as bad in the actual musicals though.
Ooishi looks so nerdy and weird in these. =P Also, Fuji’s the photography addict, so wtf? XD I really want to see all those photos he has though. XD Maybe he’s taking photos of Eiji?

Eiji, I love you. XD 4th cast Eiji really grew on me. Originally when I watched Higamyu, and even when I watched DL5, I couldn’t stand this guy- I think I kept comparing him to Seto (3rd cast Eiji), who was SO CUTE AND ADORABLE and was AMAZING as Eiji, and this guy just wasn’t matching up. Plus, UGH his singing in Dream Live 5th version of Juuden Kanryou…X_x Again, totally doesn’t compare- Nagayan (1st cast Eiji) did SO MUCH BETTER in the original, from WAAAY back in the St. Rudolph musical.
But I think if you don’t think about the previous actors as much and focus on just THIS GUY (I don’t know his name! XDDDDDD), he’s not that bad. When the new Tenimyu website went up (very cool btw), I saw this guy on the front page and went “WOW. is this really the same guy?” I need to really give this guy another chance, even if he DOESN’T compare to Nagayan and Seto. After all, this is the actor playing Eiji in the two BEST Eiji/Golden Pair scenes in the entire series- Eiji vs Kai singles in Higamyu, and Golden Pair Synchro in the new Hyoutei Nationals musical.
Plus, in that last pic, he’s hot.

This one was more of an impulse buy. Why Kabaji, out of all the other ones this person was selling? Who knows. XD Dude, he wasn’t even IN Dream Live 5th, so uh, wtf? O_O
Lol @ the second picture. I love his expression. And the random drink. And the bird on his shoulder. And the table/whatever on his head. o_o;

I really hope to get more of these photosets soon. XD They’re so cool!

So uh, hi! I’m IndigoSkies! :D And this is my new Prince of Tennis blog!
I’ve been running a j-pop/Hello! Project blog called Resonant Blue for a bit over a year now, and I’ve pretty much ended up loading it with lots of Prince of Tennis stuff, almost forgetting about the j-pop aspect of everything. XD So to fix that, I decided to create a new Prince of Tennis blog, to separate PoT from j-pop. Also, to get the PoT out of Resonant Blue because I know 99% of the International Wota crowd doesn’t give a shit about this stuff. XD
I’m not exactly sure how often this will be updated. The manga ended earlier this year, after all, and the anime episodes don’t come out very often. But you know, it still is one of my major obsessions…and hey, there’s still the musicals! :D
The title of this blog, aoku moeru honoo, is from the 4th musical, Musical Tennis no Oujisama More Than Limit St. Rudolph. It’s Seigaku’s opening song, and it’s really addictive and great~ XDD It means something like “blue burning flame”.

I also have another blog, called Rock*54 ~Rock na Hito wo Sagashite Miyou~ after the Cap to Bin song! It’s also a Prince of Tennis blog, but it’s a translation blog- I translate all the news entries on the music official site.

Anyway, I’ll probably be making my first real post here tomorrow! :D
